This first prayer request comes from Lisa in Las Vegas, NV. Lisa’s mother is dying from a brain tumor. Her life expectancy is a few weeks to a month. We pray for comfort for Lisa’s mother and her family in these last days.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We offer up prayers for Doug C. of Georgia. He threw out his back, requiring an ambulance ride to the ER. He’s medicated and able to be mobile, but healing is what he needs. We pray that his back is healed and that the doctors and medical providers are guiding by Holy Spirit in making the right critical decisions about his health.
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. Jeremiah 17:14
Our last prayer of this post is for all those affected by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This literally impacts most everyone around the world. Some countries, and some U.S. states have been hard hit. Everyone is on edge and being quarantined in our homes is not making it any easier. We pray everyone is blessed with the strength to endure this storm, it too shall pass.
The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7
About The Book of Nahum is the seventh book of the 12 minor prophets of the Hebrew Bible. It is attributed to the prophet Nahum, and was probably written in Jerusalem in the 7th century BC.
