Did You Know for 19 April 2020

Ministry Goes On

Did you know the past four Sunday’s the men of our Moyock Christian Ministry have met for breakfast, fellowship, prayer and study. Our willingness to meet in a small group at this time of National Crisis due the COVID-19 virus is Biblically sound. Jesus ministered to the unclean, even touching those diseased with leprosy. We are not being noble nor do we wish to make any other statement than that our ministry will continue just as Jesus healed sick in the face of this virus.

Matthew 8 Heals a Man With Leprosy

When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy[a] came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”

Prayer Goes On

Did you know we are still active in our ongoing prayer ministry. Our prayer list includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Our Nation and its leaders
  • Our doctors, nurses and medical personnel
  • Our first responders
  • Our front line logistics carriers
  • Our retail store (grocery) employees
  • Our brothers and sisters in ministry who are still active
  • Our communications employees (phones and internet)
  • Our power workers who are keeping the lights on

The list is extensive, and we must keep these folks in our thoughts and prayers. If you have a personal prayer concern please let us know.

mcf productions Goes On

Did you know that a 6 to 10 minute video takes an hour to edit and between 1.5 and 2 hours to upload to YouTube. We have several video’s in production, but like everything right now there are many competing obligations for time and resources. Stay tuned, they are coming.

UNITE714 Goes On

We have added a menu tab for this ongoing Ministry. You can easily access each of the past weeks prayers as well as take a sneak at the coming week.

  1. Our weekly meetings bind us together in Christian fellowship and as men. They are the high point of my week and serve as a platform not only for study and discussions about Jesus Christ, but as a forum of calm and measured discussion about current events. Over the past five weeks we have observed the pandemics effects on Currituck County and watched as the number of cases has risen from zero to two. God has truly blessed this rural area and helped greatly to keep things under control. May He forever be the cornerstone of my life.
