Brother Mark and I both walked on Tidewater Emmaus 118, and we both teamed on the last walk prior to COVID-19. A number of prayer requests have been announced recently by the Tidewater Emmaus Board, and I wanted to pause today in prayer for the many needs of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ. One of the many joys of the Walk to Emmaus is the sheer number of brothers and sisters you gain in your walk with Jesus. The closer relationship with Jesus is of course the single most significant blessing of any walk, but gaining such a large family is pretty high up on the list too.
So today we pause and pray that broken hearts be healed due to the loss of a loved one, family or friend. We pray for spiritual healing for those who have drifted from their relationship with God. We lift up those recovering from health issues to our Lord and Savior that they return to good health and wellbeing. Lastly we pray for all of God’s children in our deeply divided Nation.
