Moyock Christian Fellowship
The MCF gang met for dinner on Valentines day at Coinjock Marina. We had a good group of about 10, enjoyed a good meal, better fellowship and witnessed to a room full of dinners by our open prayer.
Super Bowl Sunday Fellowship
By Brother Thom
Sunday night we met for Food & Fellowship, and to watch the Super Bowl at the home of Charlie Morris. Cathy Morris agreed to allow us to invade her home for the evening and we couldn’t have been more thankful nor she more gracious.
In true methodist fashion (Baptist too), we brought more food than we could have ever eaten. We had probably 12 or 13 pounds of homemade wings (various flavors), five or more large pizza’s, salad, dip, chips, cookies and more.
In between the great conversation we did watch some football. We learned later that because we were so busy talking, not only did we miss some plays, but we missed some of the commercials we wanted to see too. But, we didn’t care. At the end of the day we weren’t really there to see the game or the commercials, we were there to spend the evening with Charlie, and in that regard it was a huge success.
